I followed Brett Tomberlin down to Monterey, CA where he was performing at the race. Then the lead singer of The All-American Rejects, who was out in the crowd, decided to hop on stage with Brett and the Saint Cecilia band and sing a couple songs. Insanely magical moment. Right after that Brett had to run off and sing the national anthem for the event. It was a wild, fun day with a hundred things thrown at me at once, and I had to adapt fast. But that is exactly what I do.
