The Makers is a short I directed, about 3 friends who are trying to break into Hollywood. I shot the promo out at a studio in LA. Smaller space, but they had some amazing backdrops, this really cool teal and grain look that cut beautifully back and forth between the interviews and the film itself. The challenge was getting the actors to remember what they had filmed two or three weeks earlier, since I was asking them questions about the shoot. It was cool having to adapt and help them recall everything, and luckily I came prepared with a solid list of questions I was able to send over beforehand, which really helped. About three hours to shoot the whole thing, and it was a really fun one to put together.
