I shot Ross’s live performance at the Wayfair in Costa Mesa, and the vibe was electric. I opened the piece with a hyperlapse that was a lot of fun to pull off, getting behind the bar and up on the stage before and after the set to capture it, and I was really glad with how it came out. High energy the whole way through, a full twenty song set. Besides Ross himself, the electric guitarist Joel was one of my favorite guys to film all night. He played like nobody’s business. Ross and his band had this great chemistry going, clearly guys who have been playing together a good while, and it made the whole night a blast to capture. Everybody had a great time.
