This one was a spec commercial I shot to play with a specific idea: what if coffee was sold the way everything else gets sold late at night, with a wink and a whole lot of mood? The concept was to give coffee a seductive, old-school hotline vibe, playful and tongue in cheek, where every line is technically about the coffee and your mind fills in the rest.

It was my first time working with the actress, Gabby, and she was incredible. She understood the tone immediately and brought exactly the right mix of charm and comedy that a bit like this lives or dies on. The DP crushed it, the setting had the perfect feel, and we shot the whole thing down in Pasadena in a single day.

Honestly, it was just a genuinely fun one to put together. The kind of shoot where everyone's locked into the same joke and the energy on set makes it into the final product. Take a look.
